I assume it’ll be the shareholders that are part of our consortium? Costs mustn’t be anywhere near what was stated because like the club have said they wouldn’t put the club in any danger and next seasons budget is unaffected.
Not exactly no but like I said and the club have said in the statement they put out it isn’t going to affect the club now or in the future. I think the clubs statement covered all bases without going too in depth.
Buzzing that we’ve got an opportunity at promotion now to a league we were never relegated from.
Good write up in the Sunday sun from pinkster and also spennymoor owner brad groves Both speak of the lack of financial help from the fa Neil is a lot more reserved with his comments where brad has a real dig at the national league the premiership and the tv companies which I'm sure we can all relate to Brad does mention a figure of an estimated 50k to take part in the play offs
I'd be surprised if they are the only one thinking it's not worth it Reading between the lines yesterday brad groves seemed almost relieved to not be involved and instead seems to want to use the money to strengthen his squad for next season with 4 players already brought in and announcing big signings this week
Very interesting talk, clarified a lot of things for me and also got me looking forward to the games. It sounds like the original £70k would have been too much for us and majority if not all clubs however it now sounds that it's much less than that however still a decent wedge.
Good to hear that it's likely to see all the loan players coming back and the squad bar Scott Barrow who was the only player named by Neil.
The logistics sound complicated with the car sharing etc however I also got the vibe that due to our professional status we may have an advantage and of course it was mentioned Brackley have less players than us even at this moment!
