It's difficult Simon,we've probably got enough to beat 75% of sides (in the div) atmo. The other25% will defend better and frustrate us .We might need to go 4-1-3-2 with Tear dropping out and give Blackett a chance alongside Josh.If Blackett can't produce then we'll need to look around. We have 50k from the cup run, some of it might have to go on recruitment.( I don't know Josh's deal but if he's recalled in Jan we'll certainly need someone else in)
Don't think Blackett is the answer, but Preston probably is - somehow we have to find a place for him alongside Josh - Tear is a decent player but shooting is not his strong suit, as evidenced from the last few games, so I would sacrifice him for Preston, who always makes things happen in the final third
Preston has made things happen coming on against tiring defenders. He's not had the same impact starting. We'll never know re Blackett unless he's given a decent go( I appreciate management see him every day training)5/10 mins sub appearances aren't nearly enough to make judgement.
Absolutely - it's become a real problem this season - I know Ken Richardson, the PA announcer, is a volunteer and respect to Ken for stepping up to do it, but Ken, you need to learn some microphone skills, because I think that's probably the problem rather than the PA system itself, unless I'm mistaken? It was always as clear as day when Peter Grant was doing it.
Yeah it sounded ok when the stupid woman ran it. Nothing wrong with whats been said over the pa more down to the settings maybe. Might be handy getting someone who does live sound in to have a look then its just a case of adjusting master volume.
